About Me...

Hi, I’m Mandy, founder of Harmony Flowers. Based in the village of Malpas, we create floral designs for our local community and beyond, including Chester, Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales.

At Harmony Flowers, everything begins with a love of seasonality, sustainability, and beautiful design.

From bouquets, weddings, events, farewell flowers, home or business styling, my style is versatile: from timeless, romantic and whimsical to curated, themed or trend-led pieces, always underpinned by nature’s rhythm, quality and eco- conscious practices.

With over 14 years of experience working in mental health for the NHS, I’m passionate about the connection between flowers, nature, well-being, and the senses — and how flowers can bring calm, joy, and meaning to people’s lives. That’s why our studio-shop in Malpas is more than a flower shop, it’s a flower hub, where we invite you to pop in for flower chats and nature, gardening, the great outdoors… spend a little you-time enjoying a walk-in flower craft or mini-arrangement making session, or sit and browse through our reference library in our comfy reading nook.

We love to meet new people, from the village and from further afield and we know there are many seasoned gardeners and flower lovers who I’m sure could teach us a thing or two!

Come in and chat about your floral needs, your stories and your knowledge in our lovely floral nature space.

Our Sustainability Values
At Harmony Flowers, we believe flowers should bring joy without costing the earth.
We prioritise locally grown, seasonal flowers wherever possible, supporting British growers and reducing flower miles.
When imports are used, we aim to source from ethical and sustainable suppliers, though it isn’t always possible to trace every stem.

We design with eco-conscious methods, including:
~ never using floral foam,

~ avoiding single-use plastics where possible,
~  sourcing eco-friendly/recyclable wrapping

~ reusing/recycling mechanics and containers.

We are committed to reducing waste and finding new ways to make floristry more
sustainable over time.
We’re not 100% there yet — sustainability is a journey, not a destination — but we’re making
steady progress and setting goals to do better every season.
