Peaceful Pause – Autumn Arts & Crafts
Take a little time for yourself with Peaceful Pause, a gently guided autumn arts and crafts session.
Workshop Description
Peaceful Pause – Seasonal Arts & Crafts Tuesday 6 October, 11am–1pm £28 per person Peaceful Pause workshops provide a supportive session for those who may find it difficult, for a variety of reasons, to join in groups or spend time in a social setting. Although this is not a therapy session, my previous experience as a mental health nurse helps me understand how a little extra support, reassurance and a gentler pace can make a real difference. During the session there will be gently guided options to paint, junk journal, colour, or create gifts and keepsakes for yourself. There are no particular expectations and no pressure to create anything in a certain way - the idea is simply to enjoy some calm, creative time at your own pace. I will make contact beforehand using your preferred contact method to provide any details or support that may help you feel more comfortable before attending. What’s included: - Gentle guidance and support throughout the session - A range of seasonal arts and crafts materials - Paints, colouring materials and junk journaling supplies - Materials to create gifts or keepsakes - Tea, coffee and cake Please note that a journal is not included, although simple ring-binder journals will be available to purchase if you would like one.
